Welcome to the website of

Bromsgrove Rail User Group

Bromsgrove Railway Station is situated at the foot of the infamous Lickey Incline, on the high speed cross country mainline route from the Nth East to the Sth West. The original Railway Station was built in 1840, partly demolished in 1971 and modified by the addition of a Second Platform in 1984. However the facilities and Train Services needed significant upgrade for the 21st century.

Network Rail recognised this and in 2016 rebuilt Bromsgrove station in its current location with Four Platforms of 188 metres, which now allows Six car trains to stop North & Southbound.

Train Services to and from Bromsgrove station are presently provided by London Midland and Arriva Cross Country Trains.

Bromsgrove Rail User Group is pro-actively involved in attempting to improve Southbound Rail Services to Cheltenham, to access the Long Distance Trains for Exeter, Plymouth and the West Country.
