A New Station for Bromsgrove

A new station has been promised for Bromsgrove to be site 200 yards south of the existing station on the site of the old Goods Yard.

Construction was  to begin  in Autumn 2008 and it should have become operational by Easter 2009. The buildings may be to a standardised design and prefabricated. The preferred track layout allows stopping trains to move off the main line. This will entail alterations to the existing track layout.

There is a strong business case for the building a new station at Bromsgrove.
